As part of the institutional vision to prepare the visually impaired students with quality education, training and sustainable employment. A dream come true project called Livelihood Center sponsored by the MacKay Foundation will be constructed within the school campus. This facility will provide various training and an opportunity for sustainable employment for all the students of Philippine National School for the Blind.
The Ground Breaking Ceremony was held on October 18, 2017 and was attended by the representatives of the McKay Foundation headed by Mr. James Mackay himself; officials of the DepEd Pasay, led by the Assistant Division Superintendent Dr. Melody Cruz. The contruction of the livelihood center will start on January 2018 and is expected to complete by October 2018.
The whole school community headed by the school head, Assistant Secondary School Principal II-OIC Mrs. Corazon B. Salvador together with teachers, staff and students are very much thankful for the said project.
